Troubleshooting
A practical connection checklist before you stream
Check your viewing setup and collect useful troubleshooting details without relying on a single speed-test number.

When playback pauses, start with a repeatable check. A single speed-test result cannot tell you whether the problem is your Wi-Fi, device, player, account or the particular stream. Write down what happens and change one thing at a time so the result is useful.
Check from the device you will actually use
Test in the room and on the connection where you plan to watch. A result from a phone beside the router does not describe the television's connection in another room. Note whether the playback device uses Wi-Fi or a cable and whether the problem changes when other household downloads stop.
Separate login problems from playback problems
A rejected login needs different information from a picture that starts and then buffers. For account errors, check the product, player and account fields first. ETV's setup instructions distinguish a Pro app link from an Xtream server URL, and advise checking copied spaces and account validity when a login is rejected. Source: ETV setup troubleshooting.
Make a short observation log
- Device model, operating system and player name.
- Wired or wireless connection, plus any recent network changes.
- Approximate time and whether the issue affects one item or several.
- Exact error text, or a description of the pause and recovery.
- Whether the same setup worked earlier.
Send this information to info@4ktvplus.com. Redact passwords, personal links and account fields from screenshots. Do not publish access details in a review or public support thread.
Check before committing to a longer duration
Ask support about current compatibility and any available way to evaluate the setup. A two-year subscription is a duration choice, not a promise of a faster connection. 4KTV+ does not guarantee a particular resolution from a speed-test number.
Common questions
Will a faster internet plan fix every buffering issue?
Not necessarily. First establish where the problem occurs; device, player, account and stream-specific issues require different checks.
Should I send my password so support can investigate?
No. Start with the device details and error message. Keep credentials and personal download links out of screenshots.
Should I submit another order if playback fails?
No. Contact support about the existing request first. Another order does not diagnose the issue. See our FAQ for the next steps.
